Synopsis
Following the Treaty of Versailles in 1919, Germany was obliged to surrender its high sea fleet and was strictly forbidden to construct warplanes and submarines. By August 1939 three main types of submarines were constructed. This film gives an insight as to what it was like to be a German submariner in World War II.
